Family Court
More and more people are forced into a position where they are having to represent themselves in court. With the average set of proceedings costing £15,000 - £20,000 in solicitor's fees, it normally comes down to funding. Family Court can be an incredibly stressful and overwhelming process, particularly if you are representing yourself (a litigant in person).
However... I have successfully done so three times over, and would now like to guide you through.
How can I help?
I am here for you at any stage of the process - from receiving notice of proceedings, to giving evidence at your final hearing. In between, I can help you prepare statements and complete forms. I will provide not only practical guidance, but emotional support and a much needed listening ear. I can hopefully put your mind at ease with answers to some of these common questions:

-
How do I file and serve paperwork?
-
How do I set out a witness statement?
-
Who are CAFCASS and what is their role?
-
Will my child speak in court?
-
How many hearings will there be?
-
My ex has lied about me. What should I do?
-
How do I prove emotional abuse?
